This is a great-looking shoe, a beautiful color. Unfortunately, the sizing is a problem. I tried the 41 and found it surprisingly loose in the heel, and then the 40 and it was way too tight across the toe box. I have worn Arche shoes for many years and love them, but getting the right fit can be tricky. Will be returning these with much regret.

These shoes are just perfect. As an avid Arche fan, this pair are great with pants, skirts, for dress up or everyday and are super comfortable!

I love these shoes. Yes, they are pricey, but I've found them to be so very comfortable. They were a splurge I have not regretted!

Wonderful! I didn't want to spend all this money on a "day" boot, but the look is really what I was looking for so I went for it. Well, it's the most comfortable boot I have ever worn! I will buy it in black, too!

I did not buy these shoes through Zappos, and I'm testy with myself for not doing so as they are less expensive here. But the shoes themselves are great, no hotspots/rubs on my feet. They are solid/comfortable and a subtle red. Not Dorothy-shoes red. I love them.

The Arche Costic is just another example of the workmanship and comfort of the Arche brand. I love the fit of the shoe and walking is more pleasureable because of it. The quality of the materials used in the shoe are the highest. You get what you pay for and this brand is a perfect example of that truth !

The leather and suede is very soft and comfortable. I agree that they are difficult to get on. I was disappointed to find, especially for such an expensive shoe, there were "lumps" in the sole that don't seem to be related to the tread on the shoe. I decided to keep the shoes and hope my feet get used to them. I'll try them for lots of walking next week in NYC.

Euro Chic Shoes. I purchased the red Costic to give a bit of a wow factor to my jeans. The shoes are great for walking...very comfortable. I love Arche for comfort and euro style. The only down factor is that they are difficult to put on without a shoe-horn. Once on, they\'re great. When my college son saw them next to another pair of shoes I purchased, he pointed to the Arche Costics and said, "I love those." I did spray the suede with ScotchGuard to protect it. Thanks Zappos for offering these great shoes.

Comfortable, attractive, easy to walk in. I'll always go with Arche when I'm not wearing sneakers.

Loved the shoes! Unfortunately I wear a size 9AA or 8.5M in Cole Haan and I ordered a 39 (too small) and a 40 (too big) as there are no half sizes. Great style, well made, but too expensive to be "doctoring" them up with sole inserts, etc. to make them fit.

I was so glad to see that Arche brought this shoe back. I love these shoes. They are my go to shoe for everything. I live in Texas, so they are perfect as a year round shoe. For me they are the perfect ballet slipper.

Perfection! Most comfortable boot I\'ve ever put on. Easy to slip into. Soft leather molds to your foot. Good traction from rubber sole. Cute and funky. All I could ask for! Arche is in a class by itself! Nothing can match it!

These shoes would be perfect if the toe box wasn't so narrow. I have long narrow feet with some slight bunions and my toes are very squished in these shoes. But the quality and cushion seem to great. As usual, 42 is the largest size so I will have to send these back.

The perfect "little black flat" that is stylish and, above all, comfortable. The rubber sole makes this shoe feel as comfy as a slipper, but there's probably not enough support for long distance walks on hard pavement. Zappos continues to make shopping a total pleasure: easy, efficient and fun. Thank you!

Bought a pair of Arche Coco shoes from Zappos for a trip to Australia. They are without a doubt the most comfortable and cool-looking shoes I have ever worn. I never want to take them off. They have worked beautifully for hiking and look great with jeans or pants in the evening. The sizing was generous and they seemed to run a little larger than other Arche shoes which I own, but they were perfect with slightly heavier socks. They were delivered promptly and I definitely plan to buy more shoes from Zappos.

Cute but runs small - I ignored the Zappos size equivalent of US size 5 to Arche size 36. I normally wear a 36/size 6 so I thought this would be fine. It's a little too tight for me--more like a 5.5. They are extremely cute and exactly what I wanted--a comfortable and classy looking shoe for summer that goes with skirts, jeans, and shorts. Too bad they're too tight.

So cute.Pros and cons on this shoe. First, it's an Arche, so drips with style...in a class by itself, high-end, well-designed, beautiful French shoe. The color - "Algue" is a dragonfly-forest-green/blue-teal. I think I bought it mainly for the color. Nice high wedge of that solid Arche premium latex rubber; soft, flexible, comfortable. Like all my Arche shoes, I could wear this one all day and still be comfortable, even with the ankle strap, which is very soft, and does not rub the ankle raw. However, it is a relatively heavy shoe. The ankle strap is a nice style touch and means your foot will never slip out accidentally, especially good for my somewhat narrow foot, but the strap visually cuts the leg at the ankle, making the leg look a little stumpy, hard to do on my long thin leg. It's a lot of shoe, and I thought that with a dress, too much shoe! Hard to describe...just that walking into a room I'm sure the first thing people would see would be the shoes. Kind of clunky looking with a dress, but with slacks or jeans, better. A size 39/8 was true to size for my USA size 8 to 8 1/2 foot.

Bought a pair in the color 'Poison' from a different source than Zappos, and they fit beautifully in size 8 [39]. Bought a pair in 'Noir' from Zappos - in the same size and they were way too tight, so returned them and am waiting for a size 9 [40] to come into stock. Have bought several other size 39's/8 from Zappos which seem okay, but for the Noir/Black at least, it's apparent that I need the next larger size. As every other reviewer has said, they are wonderfully comfortable shoes. Anyone with foot 'issues' will love them.

Very casual Very comfortable GREAT shoe - My Birkenstock-only feet love this shoe. No pain; no break-in period. This is definitely a sporty shoe - not for skirts. The price is high but it is a perfect fit, beautiful black leather and classy. It’s Arche at its best.

Attractive travel shoes - I purchased the Arche Laos shoes for an upcoming trip to Paris. Paris is a "walking" city, so I needed stylish, yet comfortable shoes. I was a bit disappointed the first day I wore them, since I came home with blisters on both heels. With the addition of a pair of drugstore gel heel pads, my heels are fine, and I'm ready for Paris.

Very comfortable smart looking shoe with slight drawback of feeling a bit too flat. I personally like slightly more padding on the soles of my feet.

Keeper. I wear a US 8.5 and purchased a size 40. The latex bottom is very cushy. The fit is a bit high in the back, which initially wasn’t great on a pressure point on the side of one foot, but the suede is soft and the fit was fine within 2-3 hours. The black suede is jet black, which is ideal for me. Taryn Rose is more comfy right out of the box, but the leather is easily damaged. The Arche suede leather seems much more durable.

Love these Arche boots! These were on My Favorites list for some time. Wish I had ordered them sooner. They are so comfortable and stylish. They fit like a glove and the back zipper completes the snug fit.
